Group Size

Caber toss, wheatsheaf toss, wellie hurling, axe throwing, and alpine skis, finishing with a tug of war finale.

What to Expect from the Mini Highland Games
We bring the Highland Games directly to your venue, including all equipment, setup and experienced Wild Cairns instructors to run your event from start to finish.
On arrival, your guests are split into clans, each with their own Clan Chief, before taking on six traditional Scottish challenges.
Clans compete in Caber Toss, Wheatsheaf Toss, Wellie Hurling, Axe Throwing and Alpine Skiing, before coming together for the ultimate Tug of War finale.
Points are awarded throughout, building friendly rivalry before one team is crowned the winning clan.
The emphasis is on participation, teamwork and plenty of laughs. No previous experience is needed, and our instructors keep everyone involved.

Our Mobile Highland Games are designed for groups looking for a fun, inclusive and memorable Scottish experience at their own venue.
Perfect for corporate events and team-building days, weddings, travel and incentive groups, private celebrations, hotels, castles and country estates.
We can host groups of 10 to 60 participants, splitting guests into competing clans and adapting the event to suit your group and venue.
Everything is fully instructor-led. The Wild Cairns team brings the equipment, sets up the games and hosts the experience from start to finish.

Glenkinchie Distillery & Whisky Tasting
Looking to add another taste of Scotland to your Highland Games?
Through our partnership with Glenkinchie Distillery, a whisky tasting may be available as an optional addition to your Mobile Highland Games.
Subject to availability and suitability of the venue, a hosted whisky tasting can provide a relaxed and sociable finish to the event, making it particularly suited to corporate groups, incentive travel, private events and international visitors.
Whisky tasting is available at an additional cost and must be arranged in advance. Availability will be confirmed as part of your event planning.

Wild Cairns’ Highland Games were featured on BBC’s Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes, with Robson Green and Mark Benton taking part in the games at our home at Whitekirk Hill.
The programme showcased the fun, atmosphere and friendly competition at the heart of the Wild Cairns Highland Games experience.
We now bring that same instructor-led experience to venues across Scotland, giving castles, hotels, estates, corporate groups and event organisers the opportunity to host their own Wild Cairns Highland Games.
